Meaning of Hummingbirds?
The hummingbird embodies a symbolism with a powerful spiritual meaning, as it represents the resurrection of souls. In some ancient cultures it means death in the cold nights of winter and resurrection to life with the dawn of spring.
Its bright feathers reflect all the colors under the sun, which caught the attention of men, who tried to catch it to decorate themselves with the beautiful feathers of the animal, but the gods ordered that whoever caught it be punished.
The hummingbird symbolizes several different aspects, this is due to its speed. And this is the reason why the hummingbird carried spiritual messages to the Aztec sages, and this is called "Holy Spirit", it was called that by the Nahua Sages HUITZILIN or HUITZITZILLIN, God of the Floridan War or also called the God who makes the heart flourish, that is, the Inner Struggle.
