Aztec amulets
The Aztecs were an ethnic group that lived in central Mexico from the 14th to the 16th century. They had a very rich culture, with festivals of poetry and music, and developed schools of writing, astronomy, political skills, as well as some of the most sophisticated architecture in the Old World. Their religious beliefs were intertwined with mythology.
Aztec priests were some of the most important personalities in this culture. They lived in temples and were responsible for organizing religious festivals in honor of the gods. In the Nahuatl language, the word equivalent to priest translates as "the giver of things." Priests made amulets and sold them to common Aztec people, who used them against the wrath of the gods and in funeral rituals and in times of war. It is believed that these amulets granted them wisdom and protected them from evil spirits, giving them a sense of peace and security to face the challenges of their daily lives.
This culture left us many lessons and one of them is the following phrase...
Believe in yourself and don't put limits on yourself
Victory lies in the fight, start the action
Listen to your inner self, don't stop fighting
Giving is important, it improves and starts again.
