Aries

It is the first sign of the zodiac, the first of positive nature (masculine) and of cardinal quality.
It symbolizes rebirth and its symbol represents the horns of a ram.
There was once an ambitious queen named Ino who did not want her husband's children; they were Phrixus, a beautiful youth, and his sister Helle. By trickery the queen persuaded her husband that the children should be sacrificed alive to Zeus. At the critical moment when this was about to happen, Chrysomelus suddenly arrived from Olympus, took the children on his back, and flew with them to safety over the sea. Although Phrixus clung to the ram's golden locks, Helle lost her balance and fell into the water at a place called the Hellespont.
Phrixus reached the shores of Colchis on the Black Sea. There, in honour of his miraculous flight, he sacrificed the golden ram to Zeus. Its invaluable skin was later hung as a national treasure in a sacred grove and guarded by a dragon until many years later, when the intrepid Argonauts, led by Jason, managed to steal it.

Gemini

Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac, the second of positive nature (masculine) and of mutable quality.
It symbolizes concrete consciousness and its symbol represents the stars. The mythology of this sign refers to the twins Castor and Polydeuco. They were born from an egg laid by Leda, the queen of Sparta, after having copulated with Zeus who had become a swan.
Castor, the mortal, was the son of King Tyndareus; the immortal Polydeucus was the son of Zeus. Both participated in various collective exploits, such as the hunt for the Calydonian boar and the voyage of the Argonauts.
The twins had a dispute with their cousins ​​Idas and Lynceus. Idas (the immortal cousin) killed Castor with a spear, to which Polydeucus, despite his wounds, responded by killing Lynceus.
Zeus intervened and struck them down with a thunderbolt. Polydeucus refused to be immortal unless he could share it with Castor. Zeus therefore made a pact with his brother Hades, in which the brothers could spend six months on Olympus and another six in Hades' realm.
Taurus
We are referring to the second sign of the zodiac, the first of negative nature (feminine and masculine since they create a loving hyperlink) and of fixed quality.
This symbolizes consolidation and its symbol represents the head of a bull with antlers circulating around it. It belongs, along with Virgo and Capricorn, to the earth element.
This is ruled by Venus. Its opposite sign is Scorpio.
Taurus is the form of a bull that the god Zeus adopted to seduce Europa, a mythical Phoenician princess. They had three sons: Minos, the legendary king of Crete, Sarpedon and Rhadamanthys.

Leo

Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac and governs those born between July 24 and August 23. The natives of this sign are haughty and proud because they have great self-confidence. They are children of the radiant Sun and easily excel. Leo is a leader and lives everything with great intensity.
Its symbol is the Nemean Lion, a mythological animal that Hercules had to kill to prove to the goddess Hera that he was more than just a mortal. Hercules is one of the Greek demigods, son of Zeus and Alcmene, one of the many mortal women that the god of Olympus possessed thanks to his good or bad arts.
After killing him, Heracles had to dress himself in the skin of the Nemean Lion, which was resistant to iron, bronze and stone. Heracles spent hours trying to skin the lion, but it was impossible.
Finally, Athena - goddess of war, wisdom and the arts - disguised as an old witch, told Hercules that the best tools to cut the skin of such a fearsome beast were the lion's own claws.
In this way, with a little divine intervention, Heracles obtained the skin of the Nemean Lion, which he wore as armour from then on, using its head as a helmet. To honour Heracles' bravery and power, Zeus turned the Lion into a constellation, thus perpetuating the demigod's great feat.

Cancer

The constellation Crab and the constellation Hydra are related to one of the twelve labors of Heracles (Roman Hercules).
The goddess Hera, Heracles' bitter enemy, sent a giant crab to kill him while he was fighting the fearsome serpent Hydra. However, Heracles was victorious. As a reward for his efforts, the goddess formed the constellations of the Crab and the Hydra in the sky.

Virgo

We are not talking about a simple woman, the symbol of Virgo is actually a virgin who for the Romans represented Ceres, the goddess of agriculture, harvests and fertility, who holds an ear of wheat in her hand, hence the name of the star Spica that belongs to this constellation.
Virgo is the sixth sign of the zodiac, the third of negative nature (nocturnal, passive, yin, feminine) and mutable quality. It symbolizes service and work. In astrology it has been identified with various goddesses such as Astrea and even compared to Aphrodite.

Pound

We are talking about the seventh sign of the zodiac, Libra, the fourth of positive nature (masculine) and cardinal quality. It symbolizes balance and harmony and its symbol represents the scales. It belongs, along with Gemini and Aquarius, to the air element. It is ruled by Venus. Its opposite and compatible sign is Aries.
The word “libra” is based on the Greek words for “level” and “balance,” which are also fundamental principles for modern justice systems.

Scorpio

We are talking about the origin of the constellation, which is found in the legend of Orion. According to one version, Orion the hunter gouged out his own eyes in a fit of jealousy, and while he was wandering blindly through the world, he stepped on a scorpion that stung him with its stinger, causing his death.
The gods raised Orion and the scorpion to the heavens, placing them at opposite ends of the celestial vault, so that when the constellation of Scorpio rises over the horizon, the constellation of Orion sets, fleeing from the animal that caused its death.
Scorpio is the eighth sign of the zodiac, the fourth of negative nature (Feminine) and of fixed quality. This sign symbolizes destruction and its symbol represents the scorpion. It belongs, along with Pisces and Cancer, to the water element. It is ruled by Mars and Pluto. Its opposite and complementary sign is Taurus.

Sagittarius

Mythologists had great controversy over whether or not this constellation represented a Centaur. Eratosthenes and Hyginus were of the opinion that it was not a Centaur, stating that no Centaur had ever used a bow.
They also argued that Crotus was a satyr called Crotus, who lived with the Muses on Mount Helicon. Crotus, in addition to inventing the art of shooting arrows, invented applause while listening to the Muses.
These, pleased, asked Zeus to place Crotus among the constellations.

Capricorn

It refers to the tenth sign of the zodiac, the fifth of negative nature (feminine) and of cardinal quality. It symbolizes wisdom and its symbol represents the mountain, it belongs together with Taurus and Virgo to the earth element. It is ruled by Saturn and within this trilogy of Earth it represents Sowing.
Often associated with the mythological figure of the goat Amalthea, who raised Zeus on the island of Crete to hide him from Cronus, her father, who devoured his children. When Zeus, as an adult, fought the Titans, he fashioned himself a suit of armour from the skin of this mythical goat, which became the Aegis, Zeus' shield forged by Hephaestus, god of fire.
First Zeus gave this shield to Apollo, and then to his daughter Athena, goddess of war. It is also said that the Capricorn was created from the war of the gods, when Pan escaped to the Nile River, and half of his submerged body became that of a fish; at the end of the war, Zeus returned him to his normal form and left a memory of that creature in the stars.

Aquarium

It is the eleventh sign of the zodiac, the sixth of positive nature (masculine) and the fourth of fixed quality along with Taurus, Leo and Scorpio.
Ganymede is the son of Laomedon, King of Troy. His father entrusted him with the task of guarding the flocks in the mountains. He was, according to the stories, one of the most beautiful mortals, so much so that Zeus, father of the gods, fell madly in love with him and, turning into an eagle (another constellation), kidnapped him and took him to Olympus. As compensation, Zeus gave the boy's father some immortal divine steeds.

Pisces

Pisces is the twelfth sign of the zodiac and is ruled by the planet Neptune, which endows it with kindness, spirituality, mysticism and sensitivity. It symbolizes the individual who wants to go beyond human limitations.
Every human being is born under a different star in order to gradually "round out" the Ego, but there is a Star that governs our interior, and that Star never changes, that is the Father Star.
